About PORT SHARE PROMISE Midcoast
PortShare Promise is a community partnership dedicated to helping cruise days work better for residents, local businesses, visitors, and the Midcoast communities that welcome them.
Created through collaboration among Rockland Main Street, CruiseMaine, the Maine Office of Tourism, local municipalities, businesses, volunteers, and community partners, the program exists to improve the visitor experience while supporting the people who live and work here every day.
Rather than simply welcoming visitors, PortShare Promise helps coordinate the small details that make a meaningful difference—from providing clear information and transportation guidance to sharing local recommendations, gathering feedback, and responding quickly to questions or concerns.
