Rockland Shuttle

Cruise passengers can take advantage of Rockland Shuttles provided by Sterling Elite departing regularly from Rockland’s cruise ship pier, between the hours of 8:30am and 3:30pm. A day pass ticket purchase is good for multiple trips throughout the purchase date (scroll down to purchase tickets).

Each shuttle stops outside the Center for Maine Contemporary Art just off Main Street in Rockland and either South End Beach or the historic, nearly mile-long Rockland Breakwater and lighthouse. Go for a ride, or hop on and hop off!

Shuttles:

The Rockland Trail shuttle route (approximately every hour) provides access to museums, shopping, dining, and the harbor in downtown Camden. This vehicle is handicapped accessible. Drop off and pick up in Camden are at the same spot. Restrooms are available at the public restroom facility near Harbor Place.

The Rockland Breakwater shuttle route (every thirty minutes, traffic dependent) travels to and from the pier, stopping near the Contemporary Museum of Art in Rockland before traveling down Samoset Road with a dropoff at the beautiful Breakwater Trail. Please be advised that the Breakwater trail and the nearly mile-long stone walkway to the lighthouse are NOT handicapped accessible. The stone surface of the Breakwater is rough and uneven — unsuitable for those with wheelchairs, walkers, or strollers. Only surefooted walkers should attempt this excursion!

An all-day unlimited ticket for both routes is available for $25.00.
